love yourself like no one else can
"what is wrong with me?" "what is wrong with me?" that's all I could ask myself in fourth period of school Today. My teenage insecurities had truly started to build up in my head, while tears started to fill my eyes. When people bring out what you are most insecure about, it truly does have an effect on you. You try to be strong and not to show it, but you can't help but dwell over it. After spending some time in my self pity, I started to wonder..."Is there really anything wrong with me, or is there something wrong with them?" I then started to realize that the person who had brought out my insecurity, had only accomplished nothing. I then realized that I had just gained a valuable lesson out of this experience. Life truly does not revolve around other people's perception of you, what truly matters is your own perception of yourself. You are the only one who can feel the true satisfaction of loving yourself for who you are, regardless of your imperfections. Don't pity yourself on others negative comments, it will only make you feel worse in the end. Look at yourself in the mirror right now and tell yourself one thousand times " I see myself like no one else can, in the brightest light, no one else can see."
